The Forest Opens to the Pacific

Manuel Antonio brings two of Costa Rica’s most extraordinary landscapes together:

 wildlife-rich rainforest and a protected stretch of Pacific coastline.

A couple uses a spotting scope with a naturalist guide to observe wildlife beneath the rainforest canopy in Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica.
THE JOURNEY


  • Full-day guided experience, approximately seven hours from pickup to return
  • Morning pickup from Los Sueños, typically between 6:45 and 7:15 a.m.
  • Round-trip transportation, park admission and a certified bilingual guide included
  • Guided walk beneath the rainforest canopy in search of sloths, monkeys, tropical birds and other native wildlife
  • Time to relax or swim at Manuel Antonio Beach after exploring the trails
  • Lunch included before returning to Los Sueños
  • Moderate activity level; comfortable walking shoes, light clothing, sun protection, swimwear, a towel and reusable water bottle recommended
  • The park is closed on Tuesdays; schedules, trail and beach access, and wildlife sightings may vary with park regulations and natural conditions
